Grammy nomination for "High Wide & Handsome"!

Loudon Wainwright's 2009 release "High Wide & Handsome: The Charlie Poole Project" has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Traditional Folk category. The two-CD set features Paul on five tracks accompanying Loudon on the songs of the legendary country music pioneer Charlie Poole. A record release concert for the album was performed on September 15th at the Highline Ballroom in New York City with Paul playing with Loudon as well as Martha and Rufus Wainwright as well as a host of other very talented musicians.

September 24th concert scheduled for "High Wide & Handsome"

Paul will be appearing once again with Loudon Wainwright in a live performance of "High Wide & Handsome: The Charlie Poole Project" on Friday, September 24th at Duke University's Reynolds Theater in Durham, NC. The concert will also feature musicians Chaim Tannenbaum, David Mansfield and Rob Moose among others.

New Album!

Recorded during the summer of 2009 for his recent solo tour, "After The Sun Goes Down" features some of Asaro's most requested numbers. Classic stride piano solos, Jelly Roll Morton stomps, and nine vocals. Available at any of Paul's scheduled performances below.
